Reshma Balami

Reshma’s family and friends often describe her as a very sincere girl. She is hardworking and believes in helping people in need. These qualities of Reshma will help her achieve her dream of becoming a teacher. She is currently in 9th grade and loves going to school to attend her favorite class, English. Things for Reshma is quite tough at home.

Her father, Raj Kumar, has been working abroad for the past two years and the whole family is dependent on her mother, Sita, who is a housewife. Her mother solely takes care of Reshma, her two younger sisters and her younger brother. Seeing her mother work hard and support her family has made Reshma appreciate the importance of education.
